Scott Schorr, Vice-President, Lauer Construction, Inc., received the Leadership in Engery and Environmental Design - Green Associates credential through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). The GBCI "recognizes excellence in green building practice and performance globally through its third-party certification services and professional credentials supporting market transformation."

Obtaining a LEED-Green Associates credential, which requires comprehensive coursework and successfully passing an examination, denotes a working knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. This knowledge can then be passed onto potential homeowners to make their homes more sustainable and energy efficient.

The certification is valid for a two year period before renewal is required.
